Key success factors as a basis for the project market strategy:

  1. The annual growth of air cargo transportation in Ukraine on 12-14%, in combination with the lack of specialized freight terminals with modern technology of cargo handling at the airports.
  2. The increase in vehicle cargo transportation and lack of the warehouses category A.
  3. Geographic location of the aerodrome is the best place for constructing the traffic center with directions of East-West and North-South.
  4. Good reputation and business conduct of the business owners:
    • Holding has powerful assets in several countries, has an impeccable reputation as a business partner and is recognized leader in its field;
    • Holding combines group of specialized companies which management is responsible for investment activities, projects implementation, planning and evaluation of services and construction works.

Market Strategy

Below is the description of main provisions of the project market strategy.

  1. The Object will be Ukraine's largest airport that carries air transportation, including large-sized industrial cargo. Thus, the Object will be the best Air Transport center, as a part of the industry integration process of Western, Eastern, Southern and Northern countries.
  2. The Object requires quite large number of officials and employees, that may be considered as an important economic factor in this region.
  3. Rapidly growing international flights will increase the number of companies located at the Object’s territory and nearby, therefore will stimulate economic activity in this area.
  4. As "Gate to Ukraine" the airport will be the most significant in the region and will have high economic potential and unlimited opportunities for air transportation.
  5. Thus, the Object will be not just an enterprise limited to providing services of air transport, but efficient, reliable and modern aviation center facilitating various industries.
  6. The Object is effective way to involve large number of diversified enterprises. As an incentive to create jobs, the airport is subject to service companies with significant number of staff.
  7. Because of continuous increase of activities as the basis for development of air services, the companies operating at the territory of the Object have to invest substantially and offer new services.
  8. As the central airport of Ukraine, the Object must become main international cargo airport of the state and, thus, provide transit through Ukraine to the countries worldwide.
  9. The Object will be leading economic factor and driving force in the region’s economy.
  10. The Object will promote development of domestic airlines, create all necessary conditions complying with the requirements of leading airlines in the world. In order to satisfy the customers, an international network of air transport will be developed striving to achieve international quality standard of customer service.
  11. The Object will satisfy customers' requirements and offer new services to activate new revenue sources.
  12. Professional marketing will be secured by a highly professional organizational structure in charge of marketing activity and effective development concepts focused on the customers’ needs and desires.
  13. Marketing policy will be based on:
    • Involving new airlines;
    • Expansion and promotion of non aviation services;
    • Creation of good international image and achieving high popularity.

The Logistics Center can be included in international logistics project sponsored by the Government of Uzbekistan and the UN mission in Ukraine "East Gate" on freight transportation from China to USA and from South Korea through Uzbekistan-Navoi to Europe.
